The Dayton Stealth and SNG Performance are proud to announce their inaugural Goaltender Camp at the Springfield Chiller.
The camp will be held June 15-17 and will include 3 hours of ice time and two off-ice training sessions.
The head instructor is Aaron Dickstein. Aaron was born in Dayton and started out playing for the Dayton Stealth. He went on to play for the CBJ and Milwaukee Admirals AAA hockey teams and played 2 years of Jr. hockey in the NA3HL and NAHL. He is currently playing college hockey for Concordia College in Moorehead MN. Aaron also has been serving as an instructor for several years at Mitch Korn and the US version of Future Pro Goalie Camps.
There will be several other instructors as well and more information will be sent out in the near future. Registration is limited to the first 25 goalies. The registration deadline is June 10, 2022.
Come join us at the NTPRD Chiller in Springfield for a 3-day holistic development experience!
During this 3-day camp, SNG staff will provide instruction for goaltenders on the following areas:
- Skating
- Puck Handling
- Fundamental
- Save Selections
- Rebound Control
- Situational Reads
Campers will receive three hours of on-ice instruction as well as two goalie-specific off-ice workout/classroom sessions each day.
Goalies will be placed in groups based on age and ability to ensure that each goalie is appropriately challenged.
The Dayton Stealth and SNG Performance are excited to share NHL GOALIE COACH JEFF DSALAJKO will be helping instruct on one of the days of our camp. Coach “Sal” has worked with numerous NHL goalies including Alex Nedeljkovic, Thomas Greiss and Peter Mrázek and will be an excellent resource for our participants.
