Adult 1&2: Designed for the beginner adult skater to promote physical fitness, improve balance and coordination while learning proper techniques. Level 2 is a beginner class for those that can skate across the rink with no assistance.
Adult 3&4: The adult levels are designed for the beginner adult skater to promote physical fitness, improve balance and coordination while learning proper techniques. Levels 3 & 4 are completed in sequential order with a focus on the fundamentals of ice skating.
Adult 5&6: Designed for the beginner adult skater to promote physical fitness, improve balance and coordination while learning proper techniques. Curriculum focus is on edge work, crossovers, turns and some advanced moves.

This class is for skaters Pre-Freeskate and higher who are looking for a fun enrichment class to boost their power and artistry through various turns and edges sequences.
The Basic Skills are the foundation of figure skating. These levels introduce skaters to the fundamental moves. Upon completion, skaters will have the basic skills necessary to advance to more specialized areas of skating.

Basic 2 is a beginner class for those who can skate across the rink with no assistance. Skaters will continue to build upon and improve elements learned in the previous level. Skills taught: One-foot glides, backwards, stopping, turning and slalom.
Skate rental included.
Basic 3 is for skaters who have successfully passed the Basic 2 level. Skaters will continue to build upon and improve elements learned in the previous levels. Skills taught: Stroking, preparation for crossovers, turning, backward one-foot glides, and beginning spins.

Basic 4 is for skaters who have successfully passed the Basic 3 level. Skaters will continue to build upon and improve elements learned in the previous levels. Skills taught: Crossovers, edges, three-turns, backward stroking, and preparation for backward crossovers.

Basic 5 is for skaters who have successfully passed the Basic 4 level. Skaters will continue to build upon and improve elements learned in the previous levels. Skills taught: Backward edges, backward crossovers, one-foot spin, hockey stop, beginning jump.

Basic 6 is for skaters who have successfully passed the Basic 5 level. Skaters will continue to build upon and improve elements learned in the previous levels. Skills taught: advanced turns, T-stop, arabesque, bunny hop and lunge.

The freeskate levels are designed to give advanced skaters who have completed Basic 8 a strong foundation on which to hone their skills. This is the point where the skater can choose whether to pursue a recreational or competitive approach to figure skating.

This level is designed to acclimate pre-school aged children to class instruction and skating environment with a little help from a parent/adult/mature helper who is comfortable on the ice.

Pre-Freeskate is for skaters who have successfully passed the Basic 6 level. Skaters will continue to build upon and improve elements learned in the previous levels. Skills taught: Mohawk, transitions, ballet jump, landing position, and pivots.
